What is the difference between home care and home health care?
Home care and home health care are two important services that help individuals in need of assistance in their own homes. Home care agencies provide non-medical services such as companionship, meal preparation, housekeeping, and personal care. The goal of in-home care is to allow the individual to stay safely in their place of residence and continue to be independent. Home health services include skilled services such as nursing care, medication management, wound care, and physical therapy for individuals recovering from illness or injury. Change Inc. specializes in non-medical home care and provides services that do not require a physician’s order.
